Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) has signed an agreement with a Chinese company, Inhemeter Co. Ltd, to introduce smart prepaid meter technology. The project, which is estimated to cost nearly $50 million, aims to replace the current electricity meter technology, reported Fana.
