Digital ID to Become Primary Identification for Civil Servants, Students

The Ethiopian Federal Civil Service Commission, in partnership with the National ID Program, is introducing Digital ID as the primary means of identification for civil servants. In the same week, it was revealed that the National ID Program has also partnered with the Ministry of Education to introduce biometric digital IDs as the official student identification method across educational institutions. Read more.
